Audio Technicians
Cambridge Transcriptions seeks highly capable audio
technicians to record a wide variety of meetings
throughout the country. We have a strong need
for technicians/reporters in many major cities
(i.e. New York, Washington, Baltimore, Atlanta,
Boston, Chicago, Detroit, San Francisco, and Los
Angeles).
We also record lectures and conferences nationally,
converting on-site presentations into educational
products for sale (CD-ROMs, CDs, audiotapes, DVDs,
and podcasts).
Applicants must have a proven track record of
on-site experience with a variety of audio equipment.
Experience with offline editing is a plus. We
seek technicians/reporters who can quickly set
up ten to twenty microphones (podium, table, lavaliere),
mixers, recorders, PowerPoint projectors, loudspeaker(s)
when required, connect to the outside phone line,
and then be fully prepared to report the meeting.
Qualified audio technicians/reporters must be
capable of professionally coordinating with the
on-site meeting planner, the in-house A/V when
required, and the participants. We require 100%
accuracy in speaker identification.
A cell phone, 24-hour communication, and 100%
reliability are mandatory.
